Today, I wanted to highlight a pretty amazing Austin leatherworker {and friend}, Canoe.  Natalie Davis has been innovating with some pretty unique takes on leather including  leather clad vases and leather monstera leaves. Canoe offers a variety of handmade leather goods – all statement making pieces delicately crafted with standout quality, also including leather light switch plates, to trays, keychains, feathers and more.

 

But, leather isn’t the only thing that Canoe does well.  In 2015 Canoe collaborated with J.Hannah Co to launch Skive, an olfactory interpretation of Natalie’s workshop.  If you are looking for something extra special, I can’t even begin to tell you how awesome this fragrance is!  I watch customer after customer {men and women alike} fall in love with Skive at events. Skive is a unisex natural perfume that includes ancient oils and is reminiscent of fresh turned earth, campfires, old wooden cabinets and dried tea leaves. The oils include ambrette (botanical musk), atlas cedarwood, castorium, choya loban, clary sage, myrrh, nutmeg, saffron, tobacco and vetiver.
