My friend Matt has it made! Matt is the mastermind behind Wood&Faulk, a regular contributor on Design*Sponge, and a part of an amazing community of craftsman and artisans in his new Portland studio. I met Matt last year at the Tool & Tack pop-up shop here in Austin and have been keeping tabs on him ever since.
Matt thinks of and makes the most amazing projects – usually including leather, canvas, wool, and wood. They are typically masculine in focus which is so rare in this DIY world. I was browsing his blog today and just fell in love with his leather lunch tote! Think of all the other fabric or material choices you could make one in… You can view the entire post online at D*S and dig a little deeper into Matt’s current projects in his journal at Wood&Faulk. Enjoy!
