As you know, I have been honored to create several custom ceremony rings for some pretty amazing men and women over the past few years (link to old blog posts).

Sometimes people walk in with a very specific idea of what they want, and others are completely open to ideas and my artistic direction. Often I get to incorporate old family jewelry into the designs for a new ring, giving an old piece with history a new life and story.

For this ring, the customer had an old family diamond ring they wanted to incorporate into a new design. The client wanted to use the large pear shaped white diamond and set it in white metal with a blue green range of stones. Below you get a little peak into the process, from sketch to completion.

The result? This modern beauty!
