I am beginning a new series called Process, The Making of a Piece. Through this series, I am hoping to break down how our jewelry is made to give you a little more insight into what it takes to bring these pieces to life.
I am starting out featuring one of this seasons hottest earrings, the Large Half Moon Hoop. The pieces starts out with wire and die-cut brass ovals and through the use of pliers, cutter, hammer, file, and a drill press, we end up with a piece! I hope you enjoy this glimpse into the goings-on of our little studio.
