As the winds of change blow, great things are coming to Schatzelein & fail!

I can’t believe it has been almost three years since we opened the doors on our little space on South 1st Street!  The past three years have been amazing!  Becoming part of the South Austin community was better than I ever expected, and I have seen the street grow and bloom into Austin’s new hot eating and shopping district.   I have also seen tremendous growth and opportunity with fail, my line of contemporary handmade jewelry.  With the popularity of fail, I have found myself unfortunately torn between two full time jobs: Shopkeep & Designer

It is with a lot of excitement, and a little sadness, that I am announcing that we will close the doors on our S 1st shop on Sunday May 4th, to more fully focus on fail.  While this change means the loss of our daily store front, I fully intend on bringing you the Schatzelein experience in new forms, both online and in person at events throughout the year.

To facilitate our move to our new studio I will be marking down select merchandise, furnishings, and fixtures to lighten the load.  If there is something that you have always had your eye on, now is the time to snag it!  We also have events throughout April, so plenty of reasons to stop by and say farewell to one amazing space.  And if you can swing by, there a small sampling of select markdowns online too!
