Unlike most modern jewelry, which is made with CAD and 3D printed waxes, or assembled from prefabricated parts ordered in a catalog, Christine embraces the Japanese tradition of wabi-sabi, celebrating the imperfection found in nature that give items life. Each one-of-a-kind piece is hand-carved in wax before casting. A dying art form, hand carving the wax give each piece character with a delicately organic quality that only comes from being handmade.
