Jewelry studio and retail store in East Austin is looking for a part-time Production Assistant to join our growing family. At Fail Jewelry we are a tight-knit group looking for someone that is passionate about working with their hands and making things every day. The ideal candidate is excited to spend their days making jewelry, has a sharp attention to detail, strong communication skills, receives criticism well, and takes initiative.

In this position the Production Assistant will work with cold-connections using tools such as pliers, hammers, anvil, and a drill press, along with various other hand tools. An eye for detail and strong hand eye coordination are a must. Previous jewelry experience is not required but 2 years experience with detailed oriented handwork through work, crafts or hobbies is required.

The position includes 15-30 hrs a week for the right candidate, with the ability to go full time in June. You must be able to work 15-30 hours M-F between the hours of 9:30am-5pm for you to qualify for this position. We are offering an hourly wage from $11 - $13 based on experience.
