Kindness Moving Forward

$ 1,250.00

I lived in San Francisco for 3.5 years after Austin. The body of work that this painting came from is a love story for the bright beauty and acceptance of the Bay Area. In SF, my work became the colors of the Golden Gate Bridge, the fog, the trees of the Presidio and the heights of Armstrong Woods and Henry Cowell State Park. The silvery edges of Point Reyes and the sunny grassy cliffs of Mendocino.

Callen Thompson Collaboration

Christine met Callie in 2011 at a dinner party at a pivotal moment in Christine's career where she unexpectedly established long term friendships that have proven nourishing for the soul and mind.  As both women ventured into new creative paths building their networks of like minded women the seeds were sewn for their love of one another's craft and this collaboration.

Originally conceived as an in-store show, as a result of COVID-19 the collaboration moved online.  Callie created a series of one of a kind works curated by both women which Christine then translated into one of a kind earrings.
