For fall I drew inspiration from ancient Egypt, its architecture, art and mythology. From politics to mythological prophecy, Egypt is in the forefront of our consciousness.
This season I was excited to employ new techniques that expanded my design capabilities and encourage creative problem solving. I incorporated tube riveting and bezel set stones, which allowed me to layer textures, colors and shapes in a way I was not able to before. The result is a two-sided collection. One half has three-dimensional pieces that are bigger, bolder, and more colorful than ever before. The other half is a more understated layering of organic yet geometric shapes and colors.
The collection was created and photographed in brilliant Lapis Lazuli {my it color for fall}, but I am soon incorporating Labradorite, Onyx, and Smokey Quartz.
